Since early spring 2017, members of Danish Dragon Abreast and Copenhagen Dragon Boat Team have benefitted from physical training and mental strength by applying dragon boating as rehabilitation after breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. Pink Tribute has not only taken great interest in our team, but has been our main sponsor from the start of 2017. This enabled the team to enter the Dragon Boat Event (as Denmark’s first participation in the IBCPC (International Breast Cancer Paddling Committee), which was held in Florence in 2018. Thanks to Pink Tribute’s efforts and great work and not least their fantastic fundraiser events, our team has also received team shirts, pink paddles with matching bags. In 2022 our dream came true when Pink Tribute donated a very generous amount that enabled us to finally invest in the team’s very own special designed Dragon Boat. The Dragon is Pink, 12,5 m long and named Yggdrasil. She and the team can be seen in the Copenhagen Harbour throughout the water season from April to October.
